Not sure if this is a U.S. Army photo. Zaloga credits this photo to Vought in a 1982 book. https://archive.org/details/modernamericanar0000zalo/page/76 There is a similar photo in Jane's 1981-82 apparently from the same shoot, but the photo is uncredited. https://archive.org/details/janesarmourartil0000unse_d5y8/page/616/ There are several other photos from different angles in Jane's 1979-80 that might also be from the same shoot, but also uncredited. https://archive.org/details/janesarmourartil0000unse_e3c2/page/528/ . This photo seems to be a copyright violation of Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons. There is no way that this close image was taken with verifiable copyright ownership. There is no copyright email or proof given here. The uploader of this image also doesnt have even a profile or even any other contributions to the Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons. This image seems to be stolen or taken somewhere from the internet. Comment I know that we've kept files with valid freedom of panorama cases, even when the object depicted is derivative of a copyrighted fictional character: see Commons:Village_pump/Copyright/Archive/2020/05#Bugs Bunny and Commons:Deletion requests/File:Leon hot air balloon festival 2010.jpg (and Commons:Deletion requests/Files in Category:Spongebob Squarepants). I do feel Kaldari's sentiment in the Bugs Bunny case, though: I doubt, as it is, you could get away with using that image of Bugs (or this image of Mickey) in a commercial manner. -BRAINULATOR9 (TALK) 05:22, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
