Allow overwriting of John B. Sullivan (Missouri Congressman).jpg

Current file is not of Rep. John B. Sullivan of Missouri. It is in fact a picture of Rep. Herbert A. Meyer of Kansas. This is shown within the source material as the image provided by the Memorial Service which is used as a citation is of a completely different person while the picture used is exactly the same picture (albeit in a higher quality) that is used for Rep. I think it couldn't overwrite whilst it was redirected or I didn't find the correct way to do it :p. Even though it's asking for a selection while uploading in Editing (choose another file name or upload an improved version), it's not giving any other choice than "Cancel"; and I'm getting "This file already exists" in Upload Wizard, as it should be. It would be better if you could delete the page, and I do a clean creation with Upload Wizard, then indicate the old version on that page. If there is no other chance, of course. The current versions do not match the logos used on marxiste.ch and derfunke.ch (small spacing errors everywhere). Exemple of the original version being used for reference : here. I do not know why someone would upload these slightly modified versions which exist neither online nor in the paper of the PCR/RKP. Ine.Communismus (talk) 12:22, 8 February 2024 (UTC)

I think they're probably below ToO, as they only combine simple letters with a well-known pre-existing symbol (hammer and sickle). The design of the hammer and sickle isn't particularly original or... well, I can't resist the pun, "revolutionary"... ;-) Gestumblindi (talk) 18:39, 8 February 2024 (UTC)

File:Australian Federal Electorates, 47th Parliament.svg

This is a simple map of the 151 electoral divisions (constituencies) of the Australian House of Representatives that I uploaded today. I'm requesting to allow overwriting so any user can translate this file so it becomes available in different languages. However, when the currently ongoing federal redistribution for the next federal election is finalised, a new file will be uploaded (which will also be free for anyone to translate) and this one should remain for historical purposes. The redistribution will change the boundaries and seat totals in NSW, Victoria and WA, and it will slightly change the boundaries of the two NT seats, however these boundaries will be shown on a different file when finalised.
