Copyright Tags[edit]

Hi. Could you add copyright tags to the images you uploaded? For now I have tagged your image as "PD" as described in the comments. Thanks for the images -- Chris 73 23:54, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Thanks for the fast reply. Usually, the files get a copyright tag from our list of copyright tags. I.e. to tag an image as public domain, you add {{PD}}, which will give you a nice box with the information, categories, etc. This should be added to the image page, since an article page may contain multiple images with different copyright tags. See for example Image:Literaturnobelpreis.png. Articles are not tagged. Let me know if you have any question -- Chris 73 01:33, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Hello! I've answered your question, see my discussin page for datailes Kneiphof 22:04, 15 Jan 2005 (UTC)

you recently moved a load of stuff into this category. Whilst some are clear cut occupations others (photographers for example) are done by many on a non occupation basis. Personally i thing we should do away with that category entirely and put all the entrys directly in Category:People but i would like to see a consensus on the matter first. would you mind joining the discussion i have started on the issue on the commons:village pump? No, I wouldn´t, see my answer there, Gabor 18:02, 20 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Vornamen?[edit]

Sowas wäre m.E. viel besser in der Wikipedia aufgehoben, da solche Infos i.e.S. doch keine Medien darstellen. Was meinst Du, sollen etwa sämtliche internationalen Namenserklärungen/formen hier deponiert werden?

Vulpes vulpes. --:Bdk: 04:28, 21 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Hello, Could you add copyright tags to these images? thanks. Anna 00:33, 18 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Added source information. There were 2 of each of these images, obviously the one with the source was deleted, it´s ok again. --Gabor 21:36, 13 May 2005 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hunter[edit]

I've copied the image from en.wikipedia, there seems to be some disagreements with the license ATM, when I copied it there was none. mikko 20:07, 20 May 2005 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Schaengel89 @me 14:26, 23 May 2005 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Ich werd' mich zumindest bemühen, Grüße --Gabor 00:06, 26 May 2005 (UTC)Reply[reply]

grüß dich. ich finde, Joachim Camerarius d. Ä. kann man gewiss besser einordnen als in Category:People. selbst [[Category:People of Germany ist besser. Schaengel89 @me 20:24, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Hello You uploaded the first version of this pic. I somehow cleaned up the noisy gray backround behind the statue. If you don't like what I've done, I still have the version you uploaded, just tell me and I'll restore it. - Ash Crow 03:48, 13 September 2005 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Howard Rheingold[edit]

Hi, Gabor. I redirected the page Howard Rheingold to Category:Howard Rheingold because there are now about six or seven photos. If I goofed please let me know or free free to revert this. Thanks a bunch for starting this out. -Susanlesch 03:45, 12 February 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

If you created this gallery, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Category discussion warning

Engineers has been listed at Commons:Categories for discussion so that the community can discuss ways in which it should be changed. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this category, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for discussion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it. If the category is up for deletion because it has been superseded, consider the notion that although the category may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new category.

In all cases, please do not take the category discussion personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you!
