Приветствую! Сорри что так долго не отвечал, перестал в последнее время сюда заглядывать. Да, я из Томска, но и в Северске тоже бываю иногда. Фотографий городов нет практически, снимаю автомобили только :) Но если найду или сниму что-нибудь пристойное, обязательно залью :)

Strange request

I've had the oddest request from a journalist so far... This journalist is looking for "attractive" wikipedians from the Russian Wikipedia and from African languages.

I'm going through a chain of people trying to find someone able to help me, and EugeneZelenko suggested I contact you about possibly locating people from the ru.wp who might be considered "attractive". Do you have any suggestions on how I might do so? - Amgine 16:07, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

Spasibo. Файл успешно перезагрузил. Теперь хочу в Category:Train stations in Ukraine сделать субкатегорию Category:Railway station, Kharkiv, включая три фото: Kharkov.jpg, Kharkiv_South_RWSB.jpg, Ĥarkivo_stacidomo.jpg отсюда. Я сделал. Вообще - это очень просто: ставите новую категорию у изображения, нажимаете на красную ссылку и вносите категорию в нужные вышестоящие, в данном случае в "Train stations in Ukraine" и "Kharkiv". MaxiMaxiMax 08:54, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Разное количество пунктов меню

Добрый день. А почему наблюдается разное количество пунктов в верхней менюшке в зависимости от выбранного в настройках языка и можно ли это исправить? Например, на странице изображения, в английском варианте настроек (в отличие от русского) есть ещё кнопки "check usage", "categorize", "log" и "en". Точно так же, в просмотре страницы участника, в английском варианте появляются ещё весьма полезные кнопки "gallery", "orphans" и "untagged". --VPliousnine 16:11, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Я понял: Нужно создать MediaWiki:Monobook.js/ru (по аналогии с тем, как это сделано в MediaWiki:Monobook.js/de или MediaWiki:Monobook.js/es). Или просто добавить в стандартную страницу вызов MediaWiki:Extra-tabs.js. Возможно, понадобится сделать MediaWiki:Extra-tabs.js/ru, чтобы перевести названия новых вкладок .--Kaganer 18:28, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

OK, I've uploaded the maps. They are now available through Category:Locator maps of cities in Russia. I did not remove all administrative borders (besides, of course, those which needed to be removed due to mergers)—looks like we need a person who would agree to make all those maps in batches, so they all have a consistent look and would be consistently named. На карте явно виден лишний мягкий знак в названии Тюменской области (Тюменьская), да и название Красноярского края, по-моему, надо бы как-то приподнять...

Thanks for your recent organizing work on Category:Churches in Russia! Could you help with another thing: I have put the "move" tag into 3 incorrectly named categories: Category:Nizhny Novgorod metro, Category:Nizhny Novgorod fair, Category:Churches of Our Lady of Kazan and Our Lady of Vladimir; the categories now appear in Category:Requested moves, but not moved yet, as an administrator's action is required for that. Непонятно, почему нельзя оставить отсканированный участок карты? Я её честно купил и выложил в Википедию. Насколько я знаю, в соглашении о покупке карты нет пункта о каких-либо ограничениях в её использовании. Лицензионных отчислений издательство тоже не просит. В чём тогда несвобода этого изображения? Неужели нужно писать email в издательство и просить их разрешения публиковать эту карту? По этому поводу половину карт придётся исключить из Википедии. FlankerFF (talk) 13:54, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Покупка Вами карты не делает её свободной, авторские права на неё продолжают принадлежать её авторам - картографам, издательству и т. п. Можете им не писать - 100% что разрешения на публикацию под свободной лицензией они не дадут. Помогите

Подскажите, пожалуйста: [аноним] засовывает все изображения Переславского района в категорию Переславля, более того вынес на удаление саму категорию района, пытаясь заменить её категорией “деревни Переславля”. Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Проблема с фотографиями

Здравствуйте! Помогите, пожалуйста, а то сам я никак не могу разобраться. Я написал несколько статей с фотографиями в Википедию, а через некоторое время обнаружил, что фотографии из всех статей были удалены. Наверное, я сделал что-то не так (может, неправильно указал лицензию или ещё что-нибудь). Это фотографии лично мои, поэтому проблем с авторскими правами быть не может. Но, видимо, я как-то не так их оформил, когда публиковал. После того, как фотографии пропали, мне пришло письмо со ссылкой: "The Wikimedia Commons page User talk:Rehjcbj has been changed on 12 April 2010 by Martin H., see http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Rehjcbj for the current revision." Если можно, восстановите, пожалуйста, фотографии (всё-таки жалко, так Википедия была чуть побогаче на информацию), а самое главное, объясните, пожалуйста, что я делал не так, чтобы в будущем не допускать этих ошибок.

De-adminship warning

Hi! You took this photo and uploaded it here. Two different users later copied it to Commons. Do you know whether this image is allowed on Commons? Per COM:FOP#Russia, certain Russian outdoors photos are not allowed here, but the guy on the photo died in 1920, so if the sculpture was made at that time, it might be out of copyright because of {{PD-RusEmpire}} or {{PD-Russia-2008}}. Hi Stefan. As far as I know this sculpture was made in 1958. Sculptor Сергей Иванович Данилин died in 2009 (see http://www.danilin.info/biography/biography.htm), so I guess photo of this sculpture is not allowed in Commons. MaxiMaxiMax (talk) 01:49, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
